A huge thank you to all the students who joined my office for work experience this year!
We had over twenty students complete placements, undertaking tasks including drafting policy correspondence, learning about casework, creating communication content, writing speeches, joining relevant meetings and much more.
They also got a behind-the-scenes tour of the Houses of Parliament from my team and accompanied me on interesting local visits – including the Santa Maria in Shoreham Port!
All of them have been brilliant, and it is inspiring to see young people show such keen interest in politics and our community.
